Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of Unsave, operated by Eshaan Singh ("Unsave", "we", "us"). By creating an account, using Unsave, or buying access, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What Unsave is
Unsave is a personal note-taking tool. When you choose to save a post you can lawfully access, Unsave uses automated systems and AI to turn it into a structured note in your private library. You can search the library, organise it, and ask questions across it. You are buying access to the software, not ownership of the original post or its media.
Unsave is designed for publicly accessible Instagram posts (including reels, photos, and carousels), TikTok videos, and eligible YouTube videos. A source may fail when it is private, removed, age- or region-restricted, too long for current limits, technically unsupported, or blocked by a platform change.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your country. You sign in through Apple, Google, or an email link. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your chosen sign-in provider or email secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
3. AI-generated content
Notes and Ask answers are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Unsave does not guarantee their accuracy and is not a substitute for the original source or professional advice. Verify important information before relying on it.
4. Source content and your notes
You may use Unsave only with content you have the lawful right to access. Unsave creates notes for your personal use and does not sell you, host for public viewing, republish, or redistribute the original source media. You are responsible for how you use or share generated notes.
You retain your rights in notes and other content you create. You grant us a limited licence to host, copy, process, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to carry out actions you request, such as Notion mirroring.
5. Intellectual property and copyright notices
Unsave, including its software, design, and branding, is protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms do not transfer our intellectual property to you.
If you believe material handled through Unsave infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: your contact details; identification of the protected work; the material and where it appears; a good-faith statement that the use is not authorised; and a statement that the notice is accurate and you are authorised to act. We may remove disputed material and suspend repeat infringers.
6. Founding access, subscriptions, and refunds
- Unsave offers a pre-launch founding purchase for lifetime product access and plans to offer subscriptions at launch. The price and included access shown at checkout control your purchase.
- "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Unsave product, not the purchaser's lifetime. It does not promise that Unsave will operate indefinitely or that every future product or paid add-on will be included.
- Monthly save allowance: founding lifetime access includes up to 100 successfully created notes per UTC calendar month. The planned monthly membership includes up to 200. Failed or unsupported links do not use this monthly allowance. Allowances reset each UTC calendar month and do not roll over.
- Launch guarantee: if Unsave does not launch by 31 July 2026, a founding purchaser may request a full refund.
- Web payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. App Store purchases are processed by Apple and managed in the app through RevenueCat. Taxes, billing terms, renewals, cancellations, and platform refund rules may depend on the checkout provider and your location.
- Except for the launch guarantee and rights that cannot legally be excluded, refunds are handled under the terms displayed by the payment provider at purchase. Apple controls refunds for App Store purchases.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Unsave to break the law, infringe another person's rights, process content you are not allowed to access, spread malware, probe or bypass security, access another user's data, scrape or overload the service, reverse-engineer it except where law expressly permits, or resell access without written permission. We may limit or suspend activity that threatens users, providers, or the service.
8. Third-party services
Unsave depends on third-party platforms and providers, including source social platforms, AI services, hosting, authentication, payment providers, Notion, and the local Obsidian app. Their availability and terms are outside our control. Connecting or opening a third-party service may also be governed by that service's terms.
9. Changes and availability
We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features as the product evolves, including in response to source-platform changes, security concerns, or provider availability. We may also impose reasonable usage or technical limits to keep Unsave reliable and prevent abuse.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unsave is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability of a source platform, or accurate AI output.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unsave and Eshaan Singh will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, business, or opportunities. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting formal proceedings, contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the dispute informally. If it cannot be resolved, it will be settled by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in India, in English, before one arbitrator. To the extent permitted by law, claims must be brought individually rather than as a class or representative action. Either party may seek urgent injunctive relief for intellectual-property misuse or unauthorised access.
13. Ending your account
You may stop using Unsave at any time. You can delete your account in Profile → Delete account, or contact support if you cannot access the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security risk, or use the service unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Unsave changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where required for a material change. Your continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
